"Captain Bob" - Acrylic on door panel

I painted Captain Bob for a child's nursery. The room was supposed to have a nautical theme so I made Bob a captain. Hopefully Captain Bob learnes to play well with others.

If anyone is interested in a little back story, here's an early sketch of Captain Bob and a picture of the painting in the nursery: [link] .

cheers,

If emotions were currency, I'd be rich. Only problem is the currency would keep changing!!

I painted Captain Bob with acrylics. I also use acrylic glazing liquid to layer the color. As for tools, I use several different brushes and a hair dryer. When the paint doesn't dry fast enough, I pull out the dryer. This painting took about six hours.
